Rookie Ball (4-5U) is for players whose birthday falls in this range: May 1, 2019 - April 30, 2021

Special format for our beginners in Rookie Ball (4-5 YO):

Our Rookie Ball Program is designed as an low key introduction to baseball for 4 & 5 year old players just starting out. We execute station based practices to teach the fundamentals of baseball in a fun way with lots of movement and variety. We offer weekly games on Saturdays that start out as traditional tee-ball and can advance along with individual players into a hybrid of some coach toss and tee ball. We have small rosters which helps in keeping the pace 

International League (6U) is for players whose birthday falls in this range: May 1, 2018 - April 30, 2019

Players will be placed on teams by the league director; no evaluation is conducted.

The International League is a fun and instructional coach pitch league. As in all of our instructional leagues, emphasis is always on fun, skill development and teaching players the fundamentals of the game. A major goal of the International League is to ensure that players have a great experience and want to continue to play the sport of baseball. If a player does not get a hit in 5 pitches, then we bring out a tee. The player then hits the ball off of the tee. Coaches are required to rotate players into a variety of positions so they can learn the fundamentals of each position.

A League (7U) is for players whose birthday falls in this range: May 1, 2017 - April 30, 2018

Players need to attend an evaluation and then coaches will draft players onto their teams.

A League is a fun and instructional coach pitch league. As in all of our instructional leagues, emphasis is always on fun, skill development and teaching players the fundamentals of the game. Coach pitch is used to introduce players to live pitching and thus allow them to focus on the fundamentals of hitting. Coaches are required to rotate players into a variety of positions so they can learn the fundamentals of each position.

A major goal of A League is to ensure that players have a great experience and therefore want to continue to play the sport of baseball. 

AA League (8U) is for players whose birthday falls in this range: May 1, 2016 - April 30, 2017

Players need to attend an evaluation and then coaches will draft players onto their teams.

AA League is a fun and instructional coach pitch league. As in all of our instructional leagues, emphasis is always on fun, skill development and teaching players the fundamentals of the game. Coach pitching is used to allow the players to focus on the fundamentals of hitting. Coaches are required to rotate players into a variety of positions so they can learn the fundamentals of each position. AA League coaches often have a couple years of coaching experience.

AAA League (9U) is for players whose birthday falls in this range: May 1, 2015 - April 30, 2016

Players need to attend an evaluation and then coaches will draft players onto their teams.

AAA League is a fun and instructional league with rules similar to “traditional” youth baseball. Since AAA League is the first year of player pitch, it is a transitional year for many players and learning to pitch and learning to hit live pitching is developed as the season progresses. As in all of our instructional leagues, emphasis is always on fun, skill development and teaching players the fundamentals of the game. Coaches are expected to rotate players into a variety of positions so they can be prepared for the next level of play. AAA League coaches often have several years of youth coaching experience.

American League (10-12U) is for players whose birthday falls in this range: May 1, 2012 - April 30, 2015

Players need to attend an evaluation and then coaches will draft players onto their teams.

American League is intended to be a competitive, yet fun league with rules similar to “traditional” youth baseball. While a competitive league, emphasis is always on fun, skill development and teaching players the fundamentals of the game. Coaches are expected to rotate players into a variety of positions so they can be prepared for the next level of play. American League coaches often have several years of youth coaching experience. 

National League (10-12U) is for players whose birthday falls in this range: May 1, 2012 - April 30, 2015

National League (ages 10-12) will have a tryout and all other players will be in the American League and drafted onto teams by coaches.

National League is an advanced league playing under competitive “lead-off” baseball rules. Emphasis is always on having fun, but competition and developing players' skills and knowledge of the game will be strong elements of the league. Leadership and good sportsmanship are emphasized over winning. Older players are expected to be good role models for younger players in the park. Although the National League level of play is on the same caliber as ‘select’ or travel league baseball, all regular season games are played at Morgan Falls Park and our registration fees are much more affordable. National League managers and coaches are typically experienced baseball coaches that do not have any of their own kids on the team.
